: Hi. I have custom kitchen cabinets made of birch. They were made and installed by my dad 3-4 years ago. I'm noticing pin-sized holes apeearing in some of the doors. One day, while standing at the counter, I saw sawdust falling...I looked up and saw this little bug sticking his head out from one of the holes. I sprayed him with bug spray and when he was almost dead he came part way out. I removed him. He's not a termite. I removed those doors and filled a needle/syringe with bug spray and injected it into all the holes while turning the doors in different directions to allow better flow. I then filled the holes with putty and hung them back up. Well....theres more holes! I don't know what to do. I know this is odd because wook is suppose to be kiln dried and you'd think the heat would kill those bugs. My dad always helped me with things like this but he passed away last November. It's like I don't have a leg to stand on now. I'm wondering if you can give me any advise on how to get rid of these bugs. I know replacing the infected doors will do the trick but the problem with that is...I cant. Can you offer any ideas? Thanks, Nancy
